Ultimate expression of speed, control, and freedom
Designed in collaboration with Balz Müller, the Balz Pro line is the pinnacle of front wing performance—pure energy transformed into precision and power. Each size has been fine-tuned for freestyle, wave, and speed riding, offering explosive response and unmatched maneuverability.
Performance by Balz Müller
This is not just a front wing—it's an extension of the rider’s intent.
We took the best profiles on the market and pushed them even further:
Earlier takeoff with smaller surfaces
Higher top speed and extended glide
Sharper turns with better flow
Instant reactivity and enhanced feel
Every size has been tested and pushed to the limit by Balz himself.
The result? A wing that performs exactly how and when you want it to.
This set includes the Blackbird front wing 805 and the Progressive stabilizer 365, delivering maximum control and power for wing and kite foiling in medium-strong conditions. Combined with the Blackbird mast 85, featuring a race profile and ultra-high modulus carbon construction with W-core technology, this setup is built for uncompromising performance.
Blackbird Technology, Built to Perform
Hydrodynamic Efficiency and Reduced Drag
The streamlined shape and monobloc construction cut through both water and air, improving flow, reducing turbulence, and smoothing out transitions, touchdowns, and rail-to-rail moves.
Active Lift and Trim Optimization
The wing generates additional lift, enabling earlier takeoff and reducing pressure on the rear stabilizer. The result is a flatter, faster, more balanced ride—even at high speeds.
Extreme Structural Stiffness
The aerospace-inspired fuselage design increases torsional rigidity by over 20% compared to cylindrical fuselages. Load distribution is optimized to handle even the hardest landings or abrupt maneuvers.
MONOBLOC Full Carbon Construction
The integrated one-piece connection between front, fuselage, and tail guarantees:
Flex or twist reduced to the minimum
Smoother transitions
Instant feedback and control
A truly connected riding feel
Who it’s made for
Ambitious and technical riders
Freestylers looking for pop and control
Downwind and wave riders seeking speed and flow
Anyone who wants a front wing that rides like a natural extension of their body.
